Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Australian Senior Bookkeeper who will be responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping of our clients' businesses. The Senior Bookkeeper will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and quality in financial statements, journal entries (accounting), and other finance-related tasks. The Senior Bookkeeper will also utilize accounting software for data entry and bank reconciliation.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum 3 years in Australian bookkeeping
- Proficiency in Financial Statements, Bookkeeping, Reporting and Forecasting
- Experience with Accounting Software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
- Understanding of Finance and Accounting principles
- Ability to create clear and accurate journal entries (accounting)
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in financial reports
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in a Senior Bookkeeper role or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Additional experience or qualification, including familiarity with multi-currency accounting and international tax requirements, are desirable.
