Position - Senior Quality Engineer

Role will be located in Colombo, SL
In this role you will:
- Contribute to defining test strategies and test planning.
- Perform test design and the development of test scenarios.
- Contribute to the development of automation scripts.
- Configure and maintain test environments and continuous integration.
- Perform test execution, analyze test results, and communicate test results to stakeholders.
- Help mentor, train, and lead a team of Quality Engineers
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of Quality/Automation Engineering experience.
- Working knowledge in automated testing frameworks such as Manual Testing, API testing, Web application and Mobile testing, Performance test is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Retail Industry experience preferred.
- Java, Python, or other OOPs concept-based programming knowledge is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Selenium or other automated testing frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or similar.
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and/or Document databases.
- Experience with Mongo DB preferred.
- Familiarity with JIRA or equivalent bug tracking software.
- Experience with Confluence document management system.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to be challenged and learn new skills.
You may be a good fit if you have these additional skills and/or educational background:
- Experience in Performance testing using JMeter will be an added advantage
