Position -  Senior UI / UX Engineer

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the field of UI design working on complex web applications.
• Solid experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
• Experience in designing interfaces which are intuitive, responsive and accessible.
• Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during interview.
• Proficient in tools like Figma or Sketch/InVision.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Ability to effectively communicate concepts and design rationale.
• Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.

Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Effectively communicate your designs to developers and other key stakeholders.
• Address product, marketing and business needs.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
• Continually keep yourself updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the field of UX design, preferably in the production of web and mobile enterprise software
• A deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), information architecture, planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Proficient in tools like Figma or Sketch/InVision.
• Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during interview.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback.
• Create personas through user research and data.
• Promote design thinking within the development team and the wider organization.
• Work with UI designers to implement attractive designs.
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
• Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability).
• Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends.
