Role Description

This is a full-time UI/UX Designer role located in Colombo, with flexibility for some remote work. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for conducting user research, developing wireframes and prototypes, designing user interfaces and experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring brand consistency. The ideal candidate should be able to handle multiple projects, work well under pressure, and be up-to-date with design trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to transform design concepts into intuitive user interfaces.
• Customize themes for consistent and visually appealing user experiences.
• Develop responsive UIs that function seamlessly on various devices and screen sizes.
• Implement React-based UI designs with a focus on modularity and reactivity.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers and business development executives to align on project goals and requirements.
• Design the overall user flow and interaction patterns to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Develop wireframes and prototypes to visualize the layout and functionality of digital interfaces.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in UI/UX Design, including Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and InVision
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and web design principles
• Demonstrated expertise in information architecture, interaction design, and visual design
• Excellent knowledge of design tools, techniques, and technologies, and the ability to apply them to solve real-world design problems
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping is a plus
• Ability to articulate design decisions and present designs to stakeholders, including the ability to receive and incorporate feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Graphic Design or related field.
