Position - Associate Software Engineer

Velv is a software product which helps users to communicate with flexibility and clarity to reduce frequency of communication at work. We are a venture funded B2B SaaS company which is in the early stage of product traction and looking for incredible talents for our early team.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our platform and building new features using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) & Integrating 3rd party apps and libraries as required.
Your time at Velv will be fast and furious and quite the ride. But the rewards are plentiful.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for integrations with third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in JavaScript and Nodejs.
• Create user interfaces for our integration platform using React.
• Work with the team to design and implement new features.
• Test, debug, refactor code to ensure high-quality software components.
• Document code and contribute to technical documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with other developers and stakeholders.
Requirements
• At Least 1 year of experience as a software engineer or in a related role.
• Strong understanding of the MERN Stack
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with integration platforms and third-party APIs.
• STRONG English communication skills both written and verbal
