Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled MySQL Database Administrator with strong proficiency in Snowflake and MongoDB to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our MySQL databases while possessing expertise in handling Snowflake and MongoDB environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain MySQL database systems to ensure high performance, availability, and security.
• Perform regular database performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.
• Conduct database upgrades, backups, and migrations as required.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schema and queries.
• Implement and manage database security measures, including user access management and data encryption.
• Monitor database health, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance performance.
• Provide expertise in Snowflake and MongoDB environments, including setup, configuration, and administration.
• Support data integration, data modeling, and ETL processes involving Snowflake and MongoDB.
• Document database processes, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience working as a MySQL Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Snowflake and MongoDB administration and management.
• Strong understanding of database architecture, replication, and optimization techniques.
• Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in MySQL, Snowflake, or MongoDB are a plus.
• Experience with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Database) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
