Role Description

This is a full-time Cyber Security Intern role located in Colombo. As a Cyber Security Intern, you will assist the Cyber Security team in daily operations and work on projects related to network and system security. Key responsibilities may include but not limited to, researching and analyzing security trends and threats, recommending security enhancements, monitoring security alerts, and managing security tools.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree or recently graduated from a degree program in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of network and system security concepts
• Familiarity with security software such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners
• Ability to analyze and interpret vulnerability assessments and network audits, and provide recommendations for remediation
• Proficient in programming languages used in Cyber Security such as Python and C++
• Familiarity with common operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document technical procedures and processes
