Position - Intern Quality Assurance
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using appropriate tools
- Perform different types of testing related to software quality assurance
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Monitor debugging process results
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities, open defect counts etc.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Good knowledge and skills in software quality assurance process
- Hands on experience in quality assurance automation tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering/ Quality Assurance
- Team player
- Ability to communicate effectively with different project stakeholders
