Position - IT Systems Engineer
PURPOSE/GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for customer focused support on office related technology, system and services in VS&Co Sri Lanka office. This person will also assist the rollout of global/regional/local IT projects.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technology Support
- Provide day-to-day support on computers, mobile devices, IT equipment, network, system, application, printers, event and meeting (internal/external) to ensure business operation
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; find out root cause and identify permanent solution
- Follow up open ticket and handle responsible tickets within SLA. Escalate support issue when required
- Support IT hardware/software upgrade, deployment and system migration activities
- PC imaging and deployment
- Analyse hardware/software performance issue
- IT Administrative Tasks
- Monitor the meeting, printing and computer room facilities to ensure operational
- Liaise and negotiate with vendors for HW/SW procurement, maintenance service and contract renewal
- Inventory management of IT equipment
- Create and maintain support documentation, knowledge base and user guide
- Conduct IT orientation
- Handle invoices, maintain payment records and work closely with finance team to settle payment
- Engage in IT and office-related project activities
- Awareness and escalation of compliance and security related issues
Qualifications
- Possess general technology knowledge, including:
- Office 365
- Windows OS
- Active Directory
- Networking LAN/WAN/WIFI (Cisco/Arista/Juniper)
- Mobile device management (InTune)
- Software Deployment tools (SCCM)
- PC Imaging
- Computer room facilities
- Printer/Copier/MFD
- AV equipment
- Good communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Team/Customer-oriented attitude
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good command of spoken & written English Language
