Position - Junior Electronics Engineer

Fidet is looking for a candidate to collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing hardware for embedded systems and IoT devices. The role involves designing schematics, simulating and laying out PCBs, testing and debugging embedded hardware, coding low-level drivers, and integrating firmware with software developers. Design verification and meticulous documentation maintenance are also key responsibilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop hardware for embedded systems and IoT devices.
- Design Schematics, Simulate and Layout PCBs for optimum performance and Reliability.
- Test and Debug Embedded hardware and troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Code low-level drivers for embedded hardware to test and verify functionality.
- Work with software developers to integrate firmware with hardware components.
- Perform design verification and maintain documentation.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Completed internship (minimum of 3 months) in the electronics field.
- Proficiency in PCB designing with modern tools (Alitum, KiCad etc.)
- Familiarity with microcontrollers. (STM32, ESP32, Atmel, PIC, etc.)
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment. (Oscilloscopes, Logic analysers, Multimeters etc.)
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing PCBs and soldering SMD components is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
