Position - Program Associate
We are looking for a Program Associate to run our upcoming programs focused on Sri Lanka’s creative industries. This role involves working closely together with the Program Director, Manager and other experts to seamlessly implement our stellar pipeline of work in Sri Lanka.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the relationship management, operations, and the execution of programs of Good Life X from the pre-program stage (recruiting & pipeline management), through the program, and the post-program stage. As a key point of contact for program operations, you will play a central role towards contributing to the success of all participants and mentors to contribute their best efforts.
This is an associate role which will also provide opportunity to create community engagement within the programs specifically through events and a role with room for advancement, requiring the ability to provide innovative contributions to the process 😎
- Supporting end-to-end implementation of the program
- Engage with creatives, mentors and investors to ensure the successful execution of programs
- Manage regular communication with mentors and creatives, shared with leadership, to report on the status of participating companies
- Supporting marketing and promotion of the program
- Creating community networks, events and activities
- Continuously engage with partners and participants that align with the problems we aim to solve
- Engage with GLX community and program alumni on a regular basis and re-establish connections internally as necessary
- Supporting the team as a whole with any ad hoc work/ conducting tours etc.
Must have experience in;
- 1 year of experience working in the entrepreneurial or creative community (including working with and/or on a startup) or in a similar role at a larger organization
- Leading and managing programs and events
- Working in lean/agile environments
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills (English and Sinhala preferred)
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Proven attention to detail through prior work
Must have abilities:
- Drive for getting sh*t done, coupled with humility and a willingness to learn
- Undeniable entrepreneurial behavior and a magnificent passion for innovation and creativity
- Comfort with minimal amounts of direction, ability to operate independently but also as a team
- Willingness and ability to take end to end accountability to deliver on assigned tasks

- Flexibility to work some weekends, evenings, and travel on occasion
- Ability to maintain a calm presence under extremely fast and high-pressure social scenarios
- The ability to efficiently handle a room full of stakeholders, including those more senior than yourself
