Position - Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with more than 1 year of experience, who would possess the below Qualifications and will engage in the following Responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design test strategies.
• Define test scope, objectives, and success criteria for each testing phase.
• Identify and prioritize test cases based on business impact and risk assessment.
• Manual and automated test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and usability
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure product stability.
• Identify defects, track issues, and work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Analyze test results, providing clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
• Document and communicate issues, bugs, and enhancement suggestions with an appropriate level of detail.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues.
• Effectively communicate testing progress, results, and issues to team members and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Provide feedback on user experience and suggest improvements to enhance product quality.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Document and share knowledge about testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and train new joiners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role for more than 1 year.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proven experience in performance and automated testing is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) for test automation is a plus.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins, etc.) .
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-organized with a strong technical background.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
