Position - Senior Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Lead
We are looking for an experienced and tenacious individual, who has already demonstrated their ability to work in an early-stage startup, to drive our go-to-market efforts of Daraz’s new fintech venture, Koko in Sri Lanka. Koko is a Buy Now Pay Later payment platform incubated under Daraz and was founded in Sri Lanka in 2020. We are passionate about evolving the merchant and consumer shopping experience by providing our customers with an easy, interest-free payment plan. Koko will be completely free for customers who pay on time – helping people spend responsibly without incurring interest, fees, or extended debt. Koko empowers customers to access the things they want and need, while still allowing them to maintain financial wellness and control, by splitting payments in three, for both online and in-store purchases. To support our ambitious growth plans, we’re looking for smart, collaborative, and passionate people who are looking to make a genuine impact in Sri Lanka’s financial and retail ecosystem.
Our team is looking for Senior Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Lead who match the following job role:
- Test next generation fintech solutions focused on quality engineering principles
- Understand, analyze and take on key blockers in the development process
- Thoroughly test and document every step in the business process
- Approach problem solving creatively with the overarching goals and vision of the company in mind
- Co-ordinate and gain insight from different departments and fields when tackling issues
- Work with multiple development teams in different locations
- Operate in a fast-paced environment with world-class professionals
- Work with multiple stakeholders to transition data and document it thoroughly
Candidate requirements:
- An excellent level of knowledge of test case design & writing
- Experience in both UI automation and API automation
- Experience with device farms would be good
- Hands on experience in cloud technologies
- Hands on experience in mobile application testing and web application testing
- Thorough knowledge of load testing & performance baselining
- An in-depth knowledge of RDBMS and hands-on knowledge of No SQL Databases.
- An in-depth understanding of testing techniques and estimations
- An understanding of modern SDLC principles and tools
- Willingness to adapt approaches and solutions to unique problems in demanding, time-sensitive situations
