Job Description:
We are seeking a Full-Stack PHP Developer to join our team and play a key role in the development and enhancement of our cloud video hosting and streaming platform. As a Full-Stack PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing new features, optimizing existing code, and implementing API handling, API file upload, and FTP file upload functionalities.
Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for the cloud video hosting and streaming platform.
● Optimize existing codebase for improved performance, scalability, and maintainability.
● Implement API handling functionality to facilitate seamless integration with third-party services and applications.
● Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
● Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product management, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
● Strong background in PHP development is a MUST.
● Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, TailwindCSS, CSS3, React JavaScript, and jQuery is a MUST.
● Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
● Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API development and integration.
● Experience with file upload mechanisms including API file upload and FTP file upload.
● Strong knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
● Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Have:
● Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
● Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
● Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Salary:
● Starting salary would be 45,000 LKR per month during the probation period of 9 months, after which the salary will be considerably increased.
● We are not looking for industry experience, but having it would be a nice addition.
