As our Senior QA Engineer, your responsibilities would be,
- Lead the design and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, customer, and growth, to understand product requirements and define quality standards.
- Design and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes.
- Perform manual testing to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
- Identify, document, and track defects, coordinating with development teams for timely resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and testability.
- Advocate for quality assurance best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative solutions to the QA process.
- Track basic metrics for QA activities
To help you succeed in the role,
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation and manual testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience as an added advantage.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Node.js, ReactJS and JavaScript) and experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in a SaaS environment is desirable.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with performance and security testing is desirable.
