Your Role:
- Collaborate within the QA team and with other stakeholders to implement QA strategies, processes and best practices across all web and mobile application projects.
- Work with the team to select and implement appropriate testing tools and technologies that enhance the QA process.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing to ensure the quality of web and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts. Ensure and manage thorough test coverage and execution.
- Assist in the development and implementation of test automation frameworks and strategies. Automate test scripts for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Track and resolve defects, ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues.
- Work closely with Development, Product Management, and Operations teams to integrate QA processes seamlessly.
- Contribute to the establishment and monitoring of quality metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to track software quality and testing progress.
- Support the QA team in adopting new tools, technologies, and methodologies. Participate in regular reviews and audits of test artifacts, processes, and deliverables.
- Keep up with the latest industry trends and advancements in QA and testing.
- Become an ambassador of Villvay’s values when representing the company to its stakeholders.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software quality assurance, with strong expertise in test automation and manual testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java for test automation scripting.
- Experience with test automation frameworks for Web and Mobile applications like Jest, Cypress, Playwright, API testing, JMeter, Browser stack, and Appium.
- Familiarity with front-end component testing tools such as Storybook and Chromatic.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Knowledge of security-related testing tools such as OWASP ZAP and Veracode.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective time management, planning, and organizational skills.
Added Advantages:
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent. Certifications in Selenium, Agile testing, or similar are advantageous.
- Experience within the eCommerce sector.
- Experience working with international clients.
- Familiarity with advanced front-end component testing tools like Storybook and Chromatic.
- Experience or exposure to analytics tools.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or relevant DevOps certification.
