Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop performance testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices for large-scale applications.
- Plan, create, and execute load tests to evaluate system performance, scalability, and capacity under different load conditions.
- Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks, potential scalability issues, and areas for optimization.
- Work closely with development teams to design systems that meet performance and scalability requirements from the ground up.
- Generate detailed performance reports and provide actionable insights and recommendations based on performance testing results.
- Mentor engineering teams on performance best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer across teams.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on system performance issues and assist in resolving those issues.
- Take ownership of critical non-functional requirements such as disaster recovery and zero deployment ensuring systems meet broader non-functional standards beyond performance.
What we are looking for in you:
- 5+ Years of experience in performance testing, load testing, and optimization of large-scale applications.
- Strong knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace).
- Proficient in scripting and automation using tools like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of profiling and monitoring tools and methodologies.
- Proven leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A team player who fosters a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on diagnosing performance issues.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams including developers, system architects, QA, and operations.
