Responsibilities
- Optimize Azure, AWS and other cloud infrastructure for scalability and security.
- Work with tools such as Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes for system operation.
- Assess and test various tools related to the development or operational activities to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes and ensure rapid and reliable releases.
- Administer Postgres and MySQL databases.
- Ensure production systems are fully operational, and all service outage is restored within the SLAs.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and detecting root causes for infrastructure issues.
- Should be a good communicator, competent to effectively and timely communicate with all technical and nontechnical teams from different territories.
- Conduct regular performance analysis, capacity planning, and system optimization to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Continuously identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation across the development and operations lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and application performance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.
What we expect
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Completed internship or has at least 6 months experience in the DevOps field.
- Strong ability in analysing complex situations and proposing effective solutions.
- Proficient in communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and working collaboratively with technical teams.
- Experience with integrating, troubleshooting, and identifying the root cause of issues in production/test systems.
- Good understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
- Exposure to Linux and Windows based environments.
- Knowledge of SQL, the ability to write and execute queries and understand databases.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
- Experience in database management with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL etc.
- Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform or CloudFormation preferred.
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in cloud environments preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams preferred.
- Quick learner with a strong drive for self-improvement.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, solutions, and services, including bespoke and third-party components.
