Key Responsibilities:
● Lead DevOps initiatives across multiple projects, ensuring best practices in
automation, security, and scalability.
● Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters both in on-premise environments
and across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
● Design and implement Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipelines for
deploying and managing applications.
● Utilize Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the
provisioning and configuration of cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
● Work with development teams to automate infrastructure setup and deployments
using Python and Shell scripting.
● Implement and maintain Cloud Load Balancing solutions and on-prem load
balancing setups.
● Collaborate closely with Network and Security teams to design secure and efficient
network architectures.
● Manage observability, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure system
performance and reliability.
● Establish a framework for automated scaling and high availability using Kubernetes,
including networking, service discovery, and load balancing.
● Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering an environment of
continuous learning and improvement.
● Perform disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation for critical
infrastructure and services.
Required Qualifications:
● 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), with at
least 2 years in a lead role.
● Expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters (on-premise and cloud environments)
and deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals.
● Proficient in creating and managing Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and
CI/CD pipelines.
● Strong experience in Terraform and Ansible for automating infrastructure.
● Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python and Shell for automation and
custom tooling.
● Experience with Cloud Providers: AWS, Azure, and GCP (with at least hands-on
expertise in one of them).
● Strong background in networking concepts including on-prem and cloud-based
load balancing, DNS, and VPC design.
● Proven experience in architecting and implementing cloud-native applications and
services.
● Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
● Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana,
ELK Stack.
● Knowledge of security best practices and compliance in cloud and on-premise
environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Certification in cloud platforms like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure
DevOps Expert, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
● Experience in managing databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis) in Kubernetes.
● Familiarity with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies (e.g.,
Istio, Linkerd).
● Knowledge of container security best practices (e.g., image scanning, network
policies).
