Layup is on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Intern who’s eager to learn the ropes, break software (the right way), and ensure our LMS is flawless. Here’s What You’ll Do:

• Design and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures under guidance.
• Contribute to testing efforts across 1-2 projects while meeting tight deadlines.
• Support the estimation, prioritization, and planning of quality testing activities.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and assist in designing test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Help ensure the software meets quality standards and user requirements.
• Provide clear feedback and assist in documentation of issues encountered during testing.
• Learn and assist in maintaining and developing automated test scripts.

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

• A basic understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
• Sharp attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Interest in manual testing and eagerness to explore automation tools.
• Problem-solving mindset and a willingness to troubleshoot challenges.
• Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Bring:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Interest or prior experience in software quality assurance is a plus.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of web and mobile app testing.
• ISTQB certification is a bonus but not required.
