Intern Software Engineer

We are seeking talented and motivated Software Engineering interns to join our Data Analytics and Data Lake team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects, collaborating with experienced engineers, and contributing to innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, or similar technologies.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of data lakes and data warehouses.
• Perform data analysis and visualization using tools like Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn), SQL, or other relevant tools.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Explore and experiment with new data technologies and methodologies.
• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of data solutions.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts and tools (SQL, Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Python libraries, Tableau, Power BI).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication 1 and interpersonal skills.

Commitment:

• 20 hours per week, remotely.
• Start date: January 2025
• End date: March 2025
