Senior Automation Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with a wealth of experience in API Automation to join our growing team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Writing API Automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Integrate automated test scripts with the CI/CD pipelines.
• Involved in performance testing to evaluate system performance under varying conditions.
• Test Management and Defect Management.
• Maintain quality standards and metrics.
• Working with all stakeholders to ensure that the quality metrics are reviewed, closed, and agreed upon.
• Create comprehensive test documentation.
• Come up with estimates, prioritise, plan, and coordinate QE activities.
• Defining processes for the test plan and several phases of the testing cycle.
• Work closely on the project deadlines to ensure the team is focusing on Automation and Manual testing.
• Review test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing, such as unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, and security, are covered.
• Developing an end-to-end Automation strategy in line with the strategic vision and product roadmap.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Test Automation.
• Experience with Performance testing tools and frameworks such as JMeter or K6.
• Experience in API Automation with Postman or Rest Assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps or GitHub actions) and test management tools (Jira, TestRail).
• A good understanding of design principles and writing clean test code.
• Experience in version control systems like git.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of Cloud applications is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of application testing/security testing is a plus.
• Previous working experience with offshore clients.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
