Cabraal Holdings Pvt Ltd is seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer for an exciting opportunity with our Malaysian client. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in IP networking within a Telecoms Carrier environment and robust IT expertise. We are looking for someone who can lead critical projects, research emerging technologies, and design and implement advanced network architectures. Exceptional presentation skills are essential for effectively communicating project strategies and updates to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage IP networking solutions in a network services environment.
• Set up and maintain redundant server environments, utilizing RAID, Storage Area Networks (SAN), and a variety of operating systems, including Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows, along with hypervisors like VMware.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies to evaluate their potential benefits for the organization.
• Translate innovative technologies into strategic core engineering projects to advance the company’s offerings.
• Present technical projects and updates to stakeholders, clearly communicating their strategic value.
• Work independently and efficiently manage multiple projects to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Create detailed documentation to support new network architectures for the Global Support team.
• Collaborate with international teams and participate in global technology forums.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in IP networking within a Telecoms Carrier environment.
• Strong IT skills, including server setup, RAID, SAN, and experience with Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows.
• Proficiency in hypervisors, such as VMware.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex projects effectively.
• Strong research skills to identify and assess new technology opportunities.
• Experience in designing and implementing network architectures.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced networking certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE).
• Experience with cloud networking solutions.
