Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you’ll work closely with our design and development teams to build, maintain, and enhance high-quality, performance-optimized WordPress websites. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, plugins, and themes.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing layouts.
- Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including bug fixes, plugin conflicts, and security vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to WordPress.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- In-depth knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress frameworks, themes, and plugins, including custom development.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and enhance website functionality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with third-party tools.
- Familiarity with popular page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery.
Working Hours:
- Part-time, flexible hours.
- Availability for occasional meetings.
