About the Role: As a Cybersecurity Intern, you’ll work closely with our security and DevOps teams to help safeguard our SaaS product, infrastructure, and data. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain real-world experience in securing cloud-native applications and systems hosted on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities across the
SaaS platform.
● Monitor and analyze security logs from AWS services (e.g., CloudTrail, GuardDuty,
WAF).
● Collaborate with the engineering team to implement security best practices,
including secure coding and infrastructure hardening.
● Participate in threat modeling and risk assessments for new features and system
changes.
● Support incident response efforts by investigating alerts, assisting in root cause
analysis, and documenting findings.
● Research and propose solutions to enhance the security posture of the AWS
environment, including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and encryption
mechanisms.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to
help proactively address potential risks.
What We’re Looking For:
● Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer
Science, or a related field.
● Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
● Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, CloudTrail, and VPCs
(hands-on experience is a plus).
● Knowledge of common security tools and frameworks, such as OWASP, Nmap, or
Burp Suite.
● Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) to support automation and
analysis.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Flexible (Remote or On-Site depending on your location and preference)
Duration: 3-6 months with potential for extension or transition to a full-time role based on performance
