Position: Intern – ITSM (Hardware/Networking)
Location: Colombo 06, Sri Lanka
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in IT-related operations across all LAUGFS group companies under the guidance of the IT team.
- Support the service desk in resolving day-to-day IT-related issues and providing technical assistance.
- Assist in troubleshooting basic software and hardware issues, including system and network setups.
- Participate in IT security management tasks such as antivirus monitoring for end-users.
- Help maintain IT equipment such as printers, PABX systems, and other office IT infrastructure.
- Support in updating the IT asset inventory and aligning it with the Fixed Assets Register.
- Assist in onboarding new users and ensuring the proper setup of meeting rooms.
- Collaborate with IT staff and external service providers to ensure efficient IT operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Behavioral Competencies: Strong willingness to learn and develop IT skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and work in a team. A proactive and resourceful approach to tasks.
