We are seeking a skilled and innovative Senior Software Engineer – PHP to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with a passion for delivering high-quality code and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and implement new features.
- Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying insights to improve backend architecture.
Person Specifications:
- 3+ years of experience
- Familiarity with additional backend languages such as Python, Ruby, or Go is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of payment processing systems and financial technologies is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
