Responsibilities
- Support the Data center systems / Network infrastructure in align with the industry standards and best practices.
- Perform systems firmware/OS upgrades and apply patches/fixes based on recommendation of vulnerability assessments.
- Installation of standard / customized and opened sourced operating systems, packages and software.
- Configure monitoring tools to on-board various services in capturing application performance metrics.
- Act as the L2 technical support across all the onboarded enterprise level IT infrastructure.
- Provide infrastructure operational support for all the internal stakeholders to meet business SLA.
- Maintain effective communication with internal/external customers in service integrations and support requests or any other business needs.
Qualifications
- Candidate should possess a bachelors degree in Engineering / Information Technology /Computer Science from a recognized university, accredited by the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka.
- Minimum two years experience in the field of IT Network/Systems Infrastructure.
- Hands on experience in Unix/Linux operating system administration, virtualization platforms and backup operation.
- Knowledge on Data Center Networking and information security would be an added advantage.
