Seeking an experienced Associate QA Lead to mentor teams, design and maintain automated testing frameworks, ensure best QA practices, and lead quality assurance efforts across web, mobile, and IoT/embedded systems.
Responsibilities
- Mentor junior members of the team and guide them toward best practices.
- Provide the best QA solutions to the team and ensure the implementation of them.
- Maintain & improve the automated test framework.
- Create new automated tests & investigate test failures.
- Write automated tests following the BDD framework & provide input to the developers for unit-level tests
- Perform manual/exploratory testing against new features.
- Attend team retrospectives to ensure continual improvements.
- Understand business requirements & processes to define test plans with continuous review of the scope & testability of requirements.
- Provide test estimates & testing approaches to the leadership.
- Create an automation test plan.
- Automation framework design and implementation.
- Handling changes and conducting automated regression testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Software Engineering/IT from a recognized university.
- 5+ years of experience in the QA field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Selenium Webdriver with TestNG/Cucumber Framework.
- Experience in Mobile test automation using Appium / Katalon Studio.
- Knowledge of CI/CD Pipeline - Jenkins
- Able to program and maintain scripts in Java/C++.
- Having prior experience in testing IOT/Embedded systems is desirable.
- Self-starter with a 'can do' attitude in a dynamic work environment
- Holding ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Maintain good relationships with all team members.
