Job Scope
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Bileeta, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software, by monitoring every phase of the software development process, so as to ensure design quality, and ensuring that the software adheres to Bileeta’s quality assurance standards. Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate and liaise with business owners to develop and implement effective test plans
- Estimate the testing process and develop testing strategies
- Review and evaluate QA artifacts to ensure compliance with established standards
- Monitor and track new project requirements
- Arrange hardware and software requirements for efficient test setups
- Manage detected defects and drive their resolution
- Identify and proactively manage risks associated with the testing process
- Participate in regular client calls, providing project status updates to the leadership team
- Ensure the content and structure of all testing documents
- Review reports prepared by other QA engineers
- Monitor and ensure timely delivery of identified issues
Requirements for an Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology
- Proficient in SQA concepts, including the ability to prepare Test Cases, Test Plans, Test Estimations, and generate Test Execution Results
- Good knowledge of Test Automation and Performance testing
- Previous experience working with ERP systems is an added advantage
Soft Skills
- Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex domains
- Possess excellent attention to detail outstanding bug-finding skills and the ability to write high-quality bug reports
- Ability to communicate with the team effectively to meet assigned deadlines on time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and deliver high-quality work
- A sense of responsibility, dependability, and proactive mindset
