Responsibilities
- Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases and maintaining them in the test repository.
- Execute end-to-end functional testing for different APIs, web-based and mobile applications.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and execute testing activities
- Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and timely escalation of issues to stakeholders
- Provide regular status updates on the testing and other QA activities
- Closely work with the Automation team and maintain the automation coverage by executing tests and writing automation scripts.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to ensure testing timelines are met
- Participate and lead in technical discussions and diagnose issues on application and platform.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with minimum 3 years of QA Experience.
- Experience and knowledge in Software development, QA practices, methodologies, testing concepts and test tools.
- Strong knowledge in OOP concepts and JAVA or any other programming language.
- Experience in using Automation tools & technologies such as Selenium Web driver,API test automation in Rest-Assured or Mobile test automation using Appium
- Knowledge on CI/CD and supporting tools like Gitlab and Jenkins
- Experience and knowledge in scrum methodology.
- Good understanding of application architectures, databases, and distributed systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot reported issues.
- A fast learner, team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Will be an added advantage for anyone with good knowledge and experience in the BDD framework along with Gauge tool.
- Experience in other non-functional testing such as performance and security testing.
- Relevant QA Testing (ISTQB) certifications will also be an added advantage.
