Senior UI/UX Designer

ROLE SUMMARY

The UI/UX Designer is responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our product suite. You will ensure that all elements of the user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create high-fidelity user-centered wireframes, mockups, design assets and prototypes by understanding business and user requirements for user tests, management decisions, and development handover using professional tools such as Adobe XD and Figma.
• Clearly define the problems to be addressed based on the pains and needs of users. Support requirement-gathering activities to understand the challenges faced by users regularly. Conduct market research and analyze competitors to map out existing solutions and identify potential opportunities.
• Ideate solutions based on findings and define solutions through wireframes, storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces. Design UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components
• Translate solutions into prototypes for user tests. Support and conduct user tests to identify the response of the proposed solution.
• Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings when ideating and designing solutions.
• Review customer journeys and address ongoing user experience problems.
• Collaborate effectively with the product, engineering, and management teams. Minimum 2 years of experience in a UI/UX Design role.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a UI/UX Design role.
• Diploma or equal professional qualifications in UI/UX Design or Computer Science. (Optional)
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
• Possess a strong design-thinking, inbound-marketing and growth-hacking mindset with a sound understanding of these methodologies.
• Sound knowledge of user-centered design concepts, information architecture, usability, and accessibility.
• Exception knowledge and proficiency in professional UI design tools such as Adobe XD and Figma to create high-fidelity user interfaces and prototypes.
• Knowledge of AGILE-Sprints software development methodology.
• Ability to use project management software such as JIRA to structure and coordinate work.
• Clear apprehension of business processes, logic and objectives.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and excellent teamwork skills.
• Exceptional presentation, documentation, written and verbal communication skills.
