About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Associate Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic technical team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong desire to learn, the ability to take on new challenges, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. You will collaborate closely with our team to develop and enhance our public-facing platforms, APIs, and back-office systems in a test-driven agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable and high-performance web applications using Python and React/Next.js.
- Design and implement backend APIs, integrating them seamlessly with front-end components.
- Work on data modelling, large-scale data ingestion pipelines, and multi-processing systems.
- Ensure robust authentication, authorisation, and data protection mechanisms.
- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality product features on time.
- Continuously improve and refine development best practices and standards.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the Tikos platform.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Python 3React/Next.js
- Understanding of developing scalable systems including parallel processing and multi-threading. HTTP/Web architecturesecure development practicestest-driven development (TDD)
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- RustCI/CD automation
- Understanding of agile methodologies (Kanban/Scrum).
- Knowledge of relational, NoSQL, and graph databases.
- Awareness of accessibility and localisation standards.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks.
