What You'll Do:
We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, compliance, and risk management. This role will provide exposure to real-world security challenges, offering opportunities to develop technical and analytical skills while contributing to key security initiatives.
Security Issue & Application Issue Tracking
- Respond to day-to-day security-related requests and application security issues
- Assist in performing vulnerability assessments
- Assist in documenting, testing, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks
- Work with IT operations, network teams, and other departments to implement security recommendations
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of security projects and new technologies
- The program will be a full-time paid summer internship
- Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree throughout the entirety of the internship
What You'll Bring:
Education And Experience
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Interest or experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or compliance
- Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, compliance frameworks, and risk management
- Eagerness to learn technical skills and best practices in cybersecurity problem-solving
- Ability to embrace diverse perspectives and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and take on challenges with a proactive mindset
