POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented Contract WordPress Developer with strong experience in developing websites using WordPress and the Elementor page builder. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites, leveraging Elementor to create dynamic and customizable designs, integrating custom themes and plugins, and ensuring high performance and scalability.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop, test, and support WordPress websites and applications using WordPress and Elementor.
• Utilize Elementor extensively to design, build, and customize web pages and site elements.
• Build custom themes and plugins to meet client requirements, with an emphasis on seamless integration with Elementor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new website features and layouts.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and security.
• Ensure compatibility and responsiveness across different browsers and devices.
• Adhere to Agile and DevOps methodologies, taking full ownership of your development tasks.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress and Elementor development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Proven expertise with Elementor, including hands-on experience building custom layouts and integrating advanced features.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with front-end development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of responsive design, SEO best practices, and website performance optimization.
• Experience with debugging tools and problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with additional WordPress page builders and plugins.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks or libraries.
• Understanding of security practices for WordPress and web applications.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
