Job requirements

  • Have 01 years of relevant work experience
  • Diploma, Certification, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field. (Applicants currently pursuing relevant education may also be considered.)
  • Foundational knowledge of transformers, LV/MV switches, including disconnectors, load breaker switches, and Ring Main Units.
  • Capability to gain in-depth knowledge of the client’s electrical distribution systems and ensure adherence to their standards and regulations.
  • Basic understanding of Office 365 and its applications in a professional environment.
  • Must be comfortable working in an agile environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Stable high-speed internet connection (Fiber preferred) for remote work and flexibility to work on-site at the Embla office when required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the collection and analysis of data related to the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment, including transformers, LV/MV switches, disconnectors, load breaker switches, and Ring Main Units, under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Ensure adherence to the client's distribution standards and regulatory requirements
  • Detect and report any hazardous conditions associated with substation assets.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams both locally and internationally to ensure seamless technical operations and optimal performance.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and new technologies, implementing best practices to enhance work efficiency.
