Job Description

We are seeking a WordPress Developer with strong experience in WordPress customization, theme/plugin development, and maintenance. As part of our dynamic team, you will work onsite at our Colombo 3 office, providing custom WordPress solutions that align with our clients’ unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement new features and improvements.
• Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience.
• Ensure high performance and availability, managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies and industry trends to apply best practices in WordPress development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
• Proficient in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and PHP.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, plugin development, and theme customization.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile development processes.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
Must be able to work onsite in Colombo 3.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimization tools.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
