Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mobile Developer Intern, based in Jaffna, with the flexibility to work some days from home. The Mobile Developer Intern will assist in the development of mobile applications, work on iOS development, and implement object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. The intern will also be involved in various phases of software development, including coding, testing, and debugging.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS (Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin)
- Work with React Native for cross-platform app development
- Apply clean architecture and OOP best practices
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers
- Participate in daily stand-ups, team discussions, and code reviews
- Build responsive, user-friendly apps for a wide range of devices
- Continuously learn and contribute new ideas to team innovation sessions
Qualifications
- Skills in Mobile Application Development and Mobile Applications
- Experience in iOS Development
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Software Development
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science or a related field
- Familiarity with React Native and cross-platform development
- Experience in iOS Development (Swift) and/or Android (Java/Kotlin)
