Intern QA Engineer - Automation

We are looking for a passionate and driven QA Engineering Intern (Manual & Automation) to join our Quality Assurance team. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing in a real-world Agile environment. You’ll work closely with the engineering teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Review user stories and requirements to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases and document results.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and issues.
• Perform regression testing and verify bug fixes.
• Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to enhancing the QA process and test automation framework.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Basic knowledge of test case creation, execution, and bug reporting.
• Familiarity with at least one automation tool.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Java, JavaScript, Python, or C# preferred).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation (an added advantage).
• Exposure to programming languages
• Familiarity with mobile or web-based application testing.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or REST-assured.
