Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Python Developer at FocalID Technologies in Meerigama. The Python Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, object-oriented programming (OOP), programming, and databases. Daily tasks include coding, testing, debugging, and integrating new features.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain efficient and scalable back-end systems.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance problems.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable Python code.
  • Implement security and data protection protocols.
  • Participate in code reviews and agile sprint planning meetings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Python development.
  • Strong Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Experience with Databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Understanding of DevOps tools and best practices is an added advantage.
